UI/UX Design
This project was part of Design Challenge 4 at Purwadhika Digital School. When I first visited Ilayya’s website, the design felt outdated and hard to trust. I took that as a challenge to redesign it with smoother UX and cleaner UI, so users could navigate more easily and feel confident to convert.
Secondary Research
Indonesia holds the title of the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation, with approximately 87% of its population identifying as Muslim. This equates to around 244 million individuals, presenting a significant potential market for umrah services.
As of September 2022, there were 1,375 officially registered umrah travel agencies (PPIU) in Indonesia. This high number indicates a saturated market, leading to intense competition among providers.
With a solid 67% conversion rate*, I saw room to push it even higher through better UX and design. So I worked on redesigning the website to help increase that conversion rate by making the user experience clearer and easier.
